Take a look at this. Have you ever seen such a tackle? I haven’t. This tackle severed the leg of Eduardo.

Arsenal’s Edwardo has suffered a terrible injury. Football fans and fraternity should wish him a speedy and full recovery. Replays show that Taylor’s tackle was poorly executed but no malicious intent is seen. FA will need to decide on this. Meanwhile gunners will need to buck up quickly as manunited is on fire- closing the gap with three points difference.

Last year in the league cup final between Chelsea and Arsenal, Chelsea and England captain Terry was knocked unconscious and began to swallow his tongue after being accidentally kicked in the head in the 57th minute as he tried to head towards goal. He was stretchered off wearing an oxygen mask after several minutes of on-field treatment, with both players and fans fearing the worst. Luckily, he recovered fully.

Modern football is played with such intensity as we see in EPL, that the chances of accidents are there unless tackling is banned in football. Arsenal fans calling for a life ban on Taylor is also going over the top. These types of accidents do happen in the modern game.

during the 80s famoud Maldivian player kuda moosa also got a tackle like that. Both his legs were broken. Spectators even heard the loud noise of the studs on the shin guard. every one watching knew that moosa was in trouble. Moosas’ kokko, Nadheem used to be the strike buddy of moosa. As soon as the incident happened Nadheem, asked for the stretcher. The culprit was a victory player.
